October has been an exciting month. The Cubs have a put a lot of unneeded stress on me with their World Series run. I am ofcourse over joyed they won last night (and yes I did stay up later than usual for it). I also must confess I seriously considered driving back to Chicago to join the celebration.
October has brought me some new friends. Granted they are all under the age of five, but friends nonetheless. They shout my name every time they are playing outside and I pass by. These new friends and I meet up once a week. We have gone to the farm together and naturally we played with pumpkins with it being October and all. The highlight of my Wednessday this week was seeing a spider eating a wasp.
I have been helping out with the Side by Side even that is happening this next week. Cleaning out the treehouse and outback cabins, revitalizing and hanging up hammock city. The most interesting item I found while cleaning is what appearsed to be the top of Posieden’s Trident or more accurately the one he gave his children as a toy. I even was fortunate enough to spend an afternoon in Hot Springs.

Teamed up with Nature Preschoolers to create this artwork.
