What does it really mean to be a
summer camp counselor?
When you work with Ferncliff’s summer programs, you could be hiking, swimming, canoeing, playing games, meeting new people, or enjoying God’s beautiful creation at any given moment! And all while a part of a close-knit team living together in Christian community. Work begins with staff training in mid-late May and finishes the beginning of August. All positions are paid and include the option of on-site housing for the summer.

Spend your summer leading small groups of campers (ages 5-17) through activities like hiking, swimming, worship, and community-building. Guide daily Bible studies and nurture a caring, inclusive Christian community. Help campers connect with themselves, others, and Creation.
Qualifications: Must be 18+, able to relocate to Little Rock, AR, and excited to lead youth in an outdoor, faith-based setting. Experience preferred.

Serve as a certified lifeguard at Ferncliff’s pool and waterfront areas. Monitor safety, enforce rules, and help create a fun, welcoming environment. Certification required (or ability to certify on-site). Join our affirming, anti-racist Christian summer staff team.
Qualifications: Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain, willingness to relocate to Little Rock, AR, and confidence leading in aquatic environments.
