In memory of Betsy Gillaspy-Williams’s life, we are honored to share a special initiative recognizing her spirit and passion for sustainability. We have established the Betsy Gillaspy-Williams Green Fund at Ferncliff, dedicated to supporting sustainability, energy efficiency, and creation care projects.
The Betsy Gillaspy-Williams Green Fund aims to make a lasting impact by providing funds for projects such as tree planting, erosion control, habitat restoration, solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, recycling efforts, and more.
We invite you to make a donation in memory of Betsy. Your contribution will help grow the fund, allowing us to pursue meaningful projects that align with Betsy’s values.
Fund Guidelines:
- The fund may be used every other year, ensuring its sustainable growth.
- Once it reaches the established initial goal ($25,000), the original corpus cannot be spent; only the interest and returns generated can be used for “green” projects.
- Periodic updates will be provided on fund usage to keep contributors informed.
How to Contribute:
Make checks payable to Ferncliff with a memo line reading “Betsy’s Green Fund”.
Give online here or www.ferncliff.org and write “Betsy’s Green Fund” in the Gift Instructions. You may receive an email receipt that says that it was given to the general fund but I ensure you we will designate it towards this fund.
