Ferncliff Day Camp

Dates: Weekly, June 1–August 7
Grades: Entering 1st–8th

Ferncliff Day Camp gives kids a full week of outdoor fun in a beautiful, natural setting. Campers spend most of the day outside, swimming, hiking, fishing, doing arts and crafts, trying archery, and exploring nature with their small family group, led by caring counselors. Each day also includes a short, age-appropriate Bible study that helps campers grow in their faith while having fun with friends. Our ACA-accredited, highly rated camp is led by experienced, well-trained staff who make safety, connection, and joy their top priorities. It’s a safe, active, Christ-centered camp experience where kids can play, learn, and make memories all summer long.

Why three prices?

Recognizing that families have different abilities to pay, Ferncliff has a voluntary fee program. You choose the price that is most suitable for your family. No matter what price you choose, the amenities, activities, and camp experience are the same. It’s a way to make camp more affordable for more families. Tier 1 represents the true cost of camp, Tier 2 is the partially subsidized cost, and Tier 3 is the subsidized cost of camp.

Family Groups

At Ferncliff Day Camp, we intentionally organize camp around small Family Groups so your child is known, supported, and connected. Campers are placed with peers close in age and stay with the same group and counselors throughout the week, building friendships, trust, and a strong sense of belonging.

Activities

Day campers swim in the pool or the creek every day – so be sure to bring a bathing suit! Day campers also get the chance to play lots of games, make crafts, visit our farm animals, go fishing, take aim with a slingshot, climb the bouldering wall, and slide down the Shady Chute!

In addition to all the great activities, at the core of our program is our daily Bible Study and chances to learn about faith. Our counselors will lead their small group of campers through a weekly curriculum that will help the campers learn more about their faith and strengthen their relationship with God.

Our Staff

We believe that the best part of our program is our exceptional summer staff. At Ferncliff Day Camp, our staff are carefully selected for their ability to care for children, build relationships, and create a safe, welcoming environment. Counselors are handpicked, background checked, and highly trained before camp begins, with ongoing support throughout the summer. More than leading activities, our staff take time to know each camper, notice what they need, and help them feel confident, included, and supported each day. We go to great lengths to carefully select and train enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsible young Christians to ensure a safe and meaningful camp experience for your child.
