This year, we’re hiking to build the Ferncliff Nature School Scholarship Fund, ensuring nature-based learning remains accessible to all children.

What is the Hike-A-Thon?
Our nature preschoolers independently hike for as long as they want on their scheduled day! We cheer them on and have a great time supporting them!
Our little hikers can’t wait to hit the trails, and with your support, we can make this event a huge success! Sponsorships help provide the supplies needed to create an unforgettable experience while ensuring we can continue offering top-quality, nature-based care to families in Central Arkansas. Join us in nurturing the next generation of outdoor explorers!
Community Centered
Our Nature Preschool Hike-a-Thon is a community-centered event that brings together not just our preschoolers, but also their families, extended relatives, and a dedicated team of volunteers. With approximately 60 preschoolers participating, we expect a lively crowd of enthusiastic hikers and supporters cheering them on.
Connect with Others Who Value Outdoor Education
This event is a wonderful opportunity for sponsors to connect with local families who value outdoor education and nature-based learning. The Hike-a-Thon will take place on April 18 at Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center, providing a beautiful backdrop for a day filled with adventure, encouragement, and community spirit.
Support our Little Hikers!
Our nature preschoolers take on the trails, hiking as far as their little legs will carry them—at their own pace—on their special hike-a-thon day! We cheer them on, celebrate their achievements, and most importantly, have a blast together.
This event isn’t just about the fun (though there’s plenty of that!)—it also helps us gather the supplies we need to make it a success and continue providing high-quality, nature-based care to families in Central Arkansas.
