Ann Owen has been selected to be the new site coordinator for the Young Adult Volunteer program at Ferncliff. She has been active with the Little Rock site since its inception, and recently completed her terms on the boards for the YAV program and for Ferncliff. Ann earned a Master of Public Service degree at the UA Clinton School of Public Service in 2014, and has a BA in communication from the University of Alabama. She has served as a municipal recycling coordinator in Texas, as a community relations representative at Heifer International, as an AmeriCorps volunteer at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. She and her husband Rick are passionate about sustainability issues, and have recently built a LEED-certified home. She is a board member with Solar Under the Sun, and is an active member at Second Presbyterian in Little Rock. She is very proud of the young adults she parents, as well as her amazing grandson, Teddy!
