Summer camp is the heart and soul of Ferncliff…
As an expression of God’s love, Ferncliff welcomes people to a life of caring for Creation, others, and themselves. We see this mission statement lived out in all of our summer camp programs.
Day Camp
Overnight Camp
A typical summer runs from late May to early August, and we welcome over 1,300 children and youth from 1st to 12th grade to participate in camps designed around having fun and growing as an individual and a community. Activities include hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, large group games, sand volleyball, mountain biking, mountain boarding, crafts, large group worship, small group Bible study, games, orienteering, campfires, special events and more.
After a week of camp, campers of all ages at Ferncliff will:
- Expand their independence
- Strengthen their sense of identity
- Develop interpersonal skills
- Interact with creation
- Explore their Christian faith
Ferncliff respects the rights and dignity of all campers, guests, and staff, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexuality, ability, political affiliation, or religious beliefs. In turn, we expect all individuals to respect the rights of others regardless of their differences while attending camp sessions at Ferncliff. Ferncliff strives to create an inclusive environment, and staff are trained to set and expect positive examples of behavior for campers.
