A native of Western Kansas, Rebecca moved to Arkansas after college to volunteer at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville. She quickly fell in love with Arkansas and spent the next few years working for non-profits including Our House, Women & Children First and Heifer International. Rebecca was a co-founder of The Root Cafe and is an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of LR. She spent the last six years in management roles at Heifer Ranch, most recently overseeing the year-round experiential education programs and facilities.
Rebecca has a BA in Art Education and 12 years of experience writing and implementing experiential curriculum for summer camps and youth programs. In her free time, she enjoys singing in the church choir, feeding people, and traveling to visit family. She lives in the country near Perryville with her husband (Mike) and young children (Luke & Katy).
