Camp… in the winter? Yep! Four days and three nights of classic Ferncliff fun with a cozy, holiday twist—perfect for burning off energy, building friendships, and growing in faith over school break.

Who Can Come

  • Current 3rd–12th graders (overnight program)

New this year! We are extending camp to include 9th-12th graders. Now everyone can enjoy the winter fun!

Why Winter Camp

  • Active + outdoors: Archery, low ropes, arts & crafts, hiking, farm & garden, campfire s’mores, and more.
  • Seasonal extras: Winter/Christmas-themed games, crafts, and celebrations you won’t find at summer camp.
  • Faith at the center: Daily Bible Exploration and evening worship, following the journey from Christmas toward Epiphany.
  • Trusted role models: Our carefully selected, trained young adult staff (you might see familiar summer faces!).
  • Parent win: Healthy routine, joyful play, and meaningful spiritual focus—while you catch your breath and get some of those holiday errands done.

Dates & Daily Rhythm

Friday–Monday, December 19–22, 2025

  • Check-In: Friday, 4:00–5:00 PM
  • Closing Program: Monday, 4:00 PM (families welcome)
  • Check-Out: Following Closing Program until 5:00 PM

Winter Camp packs each day with classic Ferncliff adventures and special holiday fun:

  • Outdoor Skills & Adventure – Archery, low ropes course challenges, guided hikes, and nature exploration around our 1,200-acre campus.
  • Creative Arts – Arts & crafts projects, nature-inspired creations, and festive winter crafts.
  • Farm & Garden Visits – Meet friendly farm animals, help with seasonal garden tasks, and learn about caring for God’s Creation.
  • Campfire Traditions – Roast s’mores, sing songs, and enjoy night games under crisp winter skies.
  • Winter & Christmas Extras – Holiday-themed games, group challenges, skits, and special worship moments celebrating the season.
  • Faith Formation – Daily Bible Exploration and evening worship designed to connect the Christmas story to campers’ everyday lives.

Lodging & Meals

Campers stay in comfortable, heated cabins with our trained counselors. Chef-prepared meals and snacks are included; we accommodate common dietary needs.

Safety & Staffing

Safety is our priority. Staff complete background checks and comprehensive training in supervision, health & safety, and age-appropriate faith formation.

Our voluntary three-tier system helps many families participate. If cost is a barrier, reach out—scholarship support may be available.
