Camp… in the winter? Yes, you read that right!

Winter Camp is a great chance for kids to enjoy some outdoor fun and faith development during their holiday break from school. Children and youth will spend four days and three nights at Ferncliff enjoying all their favorite camp activities, plus a few new wintery ones as well!

WINTER OVERNIGHT CAMP will be held Friday 1/3/25 – Monday 1/6/25 for 3rd-8th grade campers.

Campers will get to enjoy their favorite camp activities, such as archery, low ropes, arts & crafts, hiking, visiting the farm and garden, making s’mores over the fire, and more!

In addition, all campers will participate in a variety of winter/Christmas-themed activities each day as well. You can’t do that at summer camp!

In addition to all the fun camp and wintery activities, at the core of our program is our Bible Exploration time and evening worship. Our counselors will lead their small group of campers through the Christmas season to Epiphany.

We believe that one of the best parts of our camp programs is our young adult staff. We go to great lengths to carefully select and train enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsible young Christians to ensure a safe and meaningful camp experience for your child. At Winter Camp, campers might recognize a few familiar faces from summer camp!

Winter Camp is a great opportunity for kids to take a break from their typical school schedule and have some fun while parents rest after the Christmas holidays.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does Winter Camp begin and end?
Winter Camp begins on Friday 1/3/25 and ends on Monday 1/6/25. Check-in is from 4:00pm-5:00pm on Friday. Closing Program will take place at 4:00pm on Monday and is followed by Camper Check-out until 5:00pm. Parents and families are invited to Closing Program, where campers will have an opportunity to share about their time at camp, perform a skit, and watch a slideshow of the week.

How much does it cost to attend Winter Camp?
It depends on which option and tier price you choose. All of our camps are on a voluntary three-tier pricing system that allows families to choose a price that feels comfortable. No matter which tier you choose, your camper will receive the same experience, activities, meals and snacks, and accommodations.

Winter Overnight Camp tier options are $325, $375, or $415.

What ages can attend Winter Camp?
Winter Overnight Camp is for campers who are currently in 3rd-8th grades.
