Give Us A Hand for our Hilltop!

Give Us A Hand for our Hilltop!

Give Us a Hand for our Hilltop!

Inspired by the verses from the gospel of Matthew, Ferncliff will be launching
an online campaign for 3 days, 4/18-20, to create a hilltop worship space on top of
the mountain named Matthew.  What verses? 4:18-20 of course! In these verses
from Matthew, Jesus calls his first disciples. With your help, the space we hope to
create will be one where many more disciples of Christ are called, as campers and
guests gather here for worship and reflection.

From lemons to lemonade…

About a year ago, Ferncliff was hit by a windstorm that knocked down quite a few trees around our site. As we began to clean up after the storm, we realized that we may be able to make some lemonade out of some pretty sour lemons. When we cleared the pinnacle of Matthew Mountain, we soon realized that with a little development this would be a pretty great outdoor worship space. Now we just need your help to make it happen.

Inspired by Matthew 4:18-20

18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him.

With your help, the space we hope to create will be one where many more disciples of Christ are called, as campers and guests gather here for worship and reflection.

This amphitheater, when completed, will accommodate up to 150 youth or 110 adults. Over three days in April, we are calling our friends and donors to help us raise $9,000 so we can complete this project for campers to use this summer.
